UNIT 9: HONESTY AND MORALS

We are going to introduce this new unit by watching a chapter of the American series FRIENDS. Watch this video carefully and be ready to comment on the questions below with your classmates:



1- Why does Monica say that she likes "Gladys" at the beginning of the chapter?
2- When Rachel says "and Monica is going to keep her in her house" " I'm jealous"? Is she being honest? Why does she say so?
3- How does Rachel manage to convince Joe to get rid of the painting? How would you describe Joe's attitude?
4- When Monica tells Rachel, 'are you still here?'. What does she really mean?
